How To Use MyBikelane
- Bring your digital camera or camera phone on your next bike ride.
- If you see a car/truck/etc. parked in the bikelane, take a picture of that car, making sure to try to capture the license plates in your picture (if they are not clear, that is ok, we will still take the pic).
- Upload your picture to our site (using the button in the upper right) and tell us where you saw this incident.
- Browse around and see other submissions
Guidelines for Photos
MyBikelane is based on the premise that people who park in the bike lane will be forever identified on this site. Given that, you need to make sure your photos are:
- Using the jpeg format
- In focus and clear
- You know the cross-streets where you took the photo (so we can map it)
MyBikelane Cities
MyBikelane is sectioned off by a city. The cities are ways to group photos and posts together. When you register, you should pick the city that is closest to you. Any and all posts you submit will be shown under that city section of the site. We will be adding cities as needed, so if you really feel like your city should be on the site, but is not, please suggest it. Can't make promises as to when the city will be added, but larger metro areas will hopefully be added sooner rather than later. You can also change the city you are associated w/ by going to your profile.
